I didn't have time to let you know I was going to be absent for all the month of June. I went back to Puerto Rico to see my family and be with my son in his graduation from college. I had the best time in there. Alejandro made me the proudest mom on Earth when he got the highest average of his entire class... Now he is working in a TV Sation and is starting Law School in August... I already miss them and my island...

When I got here I had a lot of kits to play with and Songs of the Sea is one of my favorites! This was created by Vivayne and you can find it in here at Digital Freebies, and in here at DAC.

Rachael's Challenge for You

Last week I was challenged by Michelle, Jana, and Shelli... I was supposed to go to my pictures folders, look for the sixth one, and pick the sixth picture. Then I show it in here...

My photo is one celebrating Deads' Day... Here in Mexico, where I'm living since 2002, this is a big holiday... There is the belief that on that day, November 2, the deads come back to their homes... All the family gather together making conmemorative altars with photos, objects, food, and possesions of the dead relative... In our school, the students from Junior and High School made different altars... The one below is for John Paul II...

Rachael has the same challenge, but with great rewards for you! You are going to do the same I did, but if you do a layout with any kit from Rachael's Store, and send it to her, then we on the CT will pick our Favourite one. McKenna was born January 12, 2008 with a cleft lip and cleft palate, which occurs in one in every 500 births. Now one-year-old, McKenna has already undergone numerous procedures to repair her cleft lip, resulting in $5,000 in medical bills. She is scheduled to undergo palate surgery on March 6 and that amount will more than double. Sadly this is all after health insurance has been paid. Her family is in dire need of financial assistance and you can help.McKenna is very near and dear to our hearts, because she is the niece of Scrap Outside the Box owner, Dani Fenning.
